The Esperanza Academic Center at Jubilee House is a learning environment
designed to open doors to further education or to advancement in the workplace
for adults who have earned a high school diploma or GED. Through workshops in
grammar, writing and math, students increase their proficiency in the skills
needed to pursue college studies and/or to improve their employment
opportunities. Many students who have completed ESOL continue with Esperanza as
the next step to achieving their goals. Classes are offered on Fridays and
Saturdays to accommodate the schedules of the students, many of whom are working
adults.
We are happy to announce four workshops for the Fall Semester. One of these is a
new offering, "Managing Personal Finances," which is being provided in
partnership with The CT Money School and Co Opportunity.
